축복된 자들의 기도

Ephesians 1:15-23 

prayers of the blessed

1. 신령한 복을 받은 자들/축복된 자들(1:3)

  Those who have received spiritual blessings

2. 축복된 자들이 올려드리는 기도(Prayers of the Blessed)

  - 개인주의 / 물질 만능주의에 물든 세상의 기도 : 기복주의적 기도

   Prayer of a world stained with individualism / materialism: 

   a prayer for worldly blessings 

  - 축복된 자들의 기도 : 하나님을 향한, 교회를 향한 기도

   Prayers of the Blessed: Prayers for God and the Church

3. 축복된 자들의 기도의 내용Contents of Prayers of the Blessed

  - 지혜와 계시의 영을 주셔서 하나님을 알게 하소서(17절)

    I pray that God would give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation 

    in the knowledge of him (v. 17).

  - 부르심의 소망을 알게 하소서(18절 상)

    I pray that you may know the hope of his calling (v. 18a)

  - 그 기업의 영광의 풍성을 알게 하소서(18절 하)

    You may know the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints (v. 18b).

  - 하나님의 능력의 크심을 알게 하소서(19절)

    You may know the greatness of God's power (v. 19).

  - 말씀과 기도의 균형(Balance of Word and Prayer)
